Voice of Hope Christianity Orphans Center. We will do everything that we can to provide help for the needy in Uganda. But without the support of people like you, we will fall far short of those needs. Only with the support of those called to help the children can we hope to find success in our mission.

This organization was established in 2000 and registered in year 2001 with a hope of helping  the most vulnerable children and were the orphans and other children together with their families .

In 2001 the organization opened up a school  to give education to these children as you can see in the pictures. The issue of Education here is Uganda especially in Wakiso where we oparate is very critical and needs a helping hand. This is our calling  and a number of children are seated home because for at least in each  home their two ore three children are seated home.

The organization bears a vision A society where orphans and other vulnerable children OVCs, their households ans the general society can have full potential in life through education, health  and spiritual support.

Challenge

Uganda has 2.5 million children orphaned by HIV/AIDS, and 10 million children living in poverty. In this urban slum, just on the outskirts of Kampala, Uganda, families are struggling to survive. Families don't have resources to meet even the most basic needs, and 60% of our children don't get regular meals at home. The cost of school supplies, uniforms, and fees puts education out of reach.

Solution

At Calvary Primary School, the Bridges for Children program feeds children two meals each day during the school term. We provide school fees or partial tuition assistance for these children, as well as supplies, uniforms, and personal hygiene items. When children are sick, we take them for medical care. We continue to cover tuition through secondary school and vocational training.

Long-Term Impact

We will educate 300 children who would not be in school without this intervention, equipping them to be active and successful in their community to break the bonds of poverty.

GOD BLESS YOU.
